Research Experience

Research Scientist, Dr. Neil Heffernan’s Lab at WPI, 03/2022 – present

  • Coordinate and advise external research teams as they set up projects within the E-TRIALS infrastructure in accordance to the tenets of Open Science
  • Recruit and support subsequent research cohorts as well as help design new ASSISTments features that will excite more researchers to use the E-TRIALS platform
  • Onboard new researchers by conducting informational webinars and walk new users through the process
  • Work with Dr. Heffernan’s PhD students and their masters and undergraduate teams in building out E-TRIALS infrastructure
  • Manage the communications and messaging between E-TRIALS and the national community of researchers, funders, and policy-makers
  • Write grant proposals to increase funding for E-TRIALS and related projects
  • Design, implement, and analyze research studies in the E-TRIALS platform
  • Write conference proposals and manuscripts to disseminate research findings
