Dr. Cheng was so great! When we were notified that the class was too big and we were going to be split into two different sections I was scared to be taken out of her class and the good news is – I wasn’t! I wanted to stay in her class because she is a young, new graduate and I knew that she would have 21st Century teaching styles. She also introduced to me several new websites that I am now obsessed with including Animoto, Canva and more. She always made sure to comment on my work and she truly interacted with students on multiple different occasions. She was fantastic.

The instructor is very responsive. Whenever I had a question or confusion, I email her, and I got satisfactory help right way. I remember one time, I forgot to update the title of the book, and she reached out to me and asked me if I am having any trouble selecting it or if I need any help regarding it. I was thankful for the reminder because it skipped from my mind and I could have lost points.
Thanks also for allowing for multiple means of expression throughout the course. Even though I mostly chose to write my responses in the traditional manner, I found that I also really enjoyed the option of submitting audio responses and that is a new door that was opened for me that I will definitely take advantage of in future courses.
I really can’t think of anything to suggest. I appreciated the variety of formats she encouraged us to use for responses, which was a true advantage for students entering the field of technology. If anything, I would just say – don’t stop that kind of opportunity! I loved using various technologies for assignment submissions and think that added a lot of value to this course. Please keep teaching like you do

I think this is a very useful course that thoroughly covers the importance of technology, not only in education, but in the students’ future professions. I enjoyed how it was half in-person and half online. Although this hybrid class allowed for barely any face to face time, the instructor always managed to get in all of the information that she needed to for the week. Difficulty of the course was below average, but still very stimulating.
This class was a very informative class and I felt that I know a lot more about educational technology that I can apply in my future career.

I am very thankful that I had Ms. Cheng as an instructor this semester. When I was going through personal problems, she comforted me and talked me through things, and that gave me a boost to continue through the semester.

At first I thought this course was going to not benefit me that much because I thought I knew everything I would use as an educator when it comes to technology.
